Cardinal Fish are marine fish that vary in color from bright and striking to dull or almost transparent in appearance. Their most distinguishing feature is their split fins on the tops of their bodies (dorsal fin). Cardinal Fish are nocturnal and spend most of their time in reefs and other hiding places.
