Instructions: During the initial 24-hour period, while maintaining circulation, mechanical filtration should be bypassed.  

To figure capacities: Square or Rectangular

• Multiply length x width x average depth = cubic feet
• Cubic feet x 7.4805 = gallons of capacity to treat
• To figure capacities: Round Type

Small Ponds & Fountains

Koi, Goldfish & Decorative:

• Initial Treatment: Mix 2 teaspoons in 1 pint of pond or fountain water for every 1,000 gallons of capacity.
• Maintenance: Mix ½ teaspoon in 1 pint of pond water every 2 weeks per 1,000 gallons of capacity.

Note: For capacities over 8,000 gallons, refer to Application Rates for Commercial Ponds below.

Large Ponds - 1 Acre Foot equals approximately 325,000 gallons

Aerated Ponds: Pond Treatment Checklist

•  Initail treatment - for each acre-foot of volume of water, add six (6) Pounds of Bi-Aquaculture to a 5 gallon bucket of pond water for the initial setup and distribute around pond surface.
• Maintenance Rates - for each acre-foot of volume of water, add one half (1/2) pound of Bi-Aquaculture to a 1 gallon bucket of pond water and distribute around pond surface every two weeks.

Static Ponds: Pond Treatment Checklist

•  Initail treatment - for each acre-foot of volume of water, add six (6) Pounds of Bi-Aquaculture to a 5 gallon bucket of pond water for the initial setup and distribute around pond surface.
• Maintenance Rates - for each acre-foot of volume of water, add one (1) pound of Bi-Aquaculture to a 1 gallon bucket of pond water and distribute around pond surface every two weeks.

Aquariums - Clean tank before starting treatment.

Initial Treatment: Mix ½ teaspoon in 1 cup of warm water for every 40 gallons of tank capacity. Pour into clean, full tank.

Maintenance: Every 2 weeks add ½ teaspoon stirred into tank water for every 40 gallons of capacity.

Livestock Water Tanks - Clean tank before starting treatment.

Initial Treatment: Mix ½ teaspoon with 1 pint water for every 150 gallons of tank capacity.

Maintenance: Every 2 weeks mix ½ teaspoon in one pint water for every 150 gallons of tank capacity

Seed Dose: 1 Tbs. per 300 gallons Maintenance: 1 tsp. per 300 gallons each week
